Each of us is in a different place on our life journey. Each of us has a different starting point (background) and different experiences along the way. At times we might find ourselves on a smooth path, feeling happy and content. At other times we might be traveling through rough terrain, struggling with sadness, stress, anxiety, worry, or anger. Sometimes, even with no identifiable reason, we can be overwhelmed with emotions, thoughts, or behaviors that are negatively affecting us or those around us. There is no single “right” or “normal” path; each of us is wonderfully unique and on our own unique path.
Come to a place of acceptance, respect, and trust.
Though your path may be rocky at times, you do not have to travel alone. We are here to provide the time and space you need--in a non-judgemental setting--to rest from, prepare for, or better navigate the journey.

In this safe space, our goal is to work collaboratively with you to develop healthy responses and positive coping skills that can lead to inner healing, greater peace, and meaningful living. Our counselor employs an eclectic style of therapy that is flexible to your needs, wherever you find yourself on your path. Her integrative counseling approach has a positive orientation that focuses on the present and future more than the past, solutions more than problems, and your strengths rather than weaknesses. This integrative approach may include one or more methods, such as:
Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT);
Reality therapy/choice theory;
Acceptance and commitment therapy;
Expressive arts therapy;
Nature-based techniques; and/or
Because whoever you are, wherever you find yourself, YOU MATTER.
