Ashley Carr

Ashley Carr is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCASA), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Virginia Tech and brings deep compassion and evidence-based expertise to her work with individuals and families across all stages of life.
Ashley is trauma-informed and experienced in a range of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Motivational Interviewing. Her approach blends science and empathy to help clients move toward healing, resilience, and meaning.
Outside of her professional work, Ashley and her husband of 25 years enjoy exploring the beauty of Western North Carolina with their two children and their beloved dogs and cats. Whether they’re sitting creekside or watching the mountains shift in evening light, they believe in the power of stillness and connection to restore the soul.
