FAQs

Who is HOPEworks for?

Hopeworks is for any Rutherford County student in middle or high school! The program is FREE and designed to inspire students to become community leaders.

Does HOPEworks offer transportation?

At this time, Hopeworks cannot offer transportation to or from the sites. Parents/guardians must arrange all transportation for their student(s).

How does it work?

Any Middle School or High School student is invited to come from 3:30pm-6pm on Wednesdays (middle school) and Thursdays (high school) at the Blue Ridge Hope Village and study in a safe and cozy environment. This site also offers an exclusive student only hot chocolate/coffee shop for free/donation for students.

Why are Middle and High School meetings separate?

Our goal is to meet students where they are educationally, developmentally, and holistically. Students are already separated out in middle and high school, so to be consistent with this model, we feel it works best to keep them split between the two groups.

What does community building mean?

For our program, community building activities need to be FUN! During our community building time, students will have the opportunity to engage in a game, activity, and a plethora of other activities.
